CAT Exam is generally held in November every year. The score of CAT exam is also accepted by other top non-IIMs such as FMS (Delhi), MDI (Gurgaon), IMI (Delhi), IITs (pan India) among other popular MBA colleges.
Management Aptitude Test (MAT)
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardised test that helps Business Schools (B-Schools) screen candidates for admission to various MBA programmes.
The test is conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association) and is held four times in a year – February, May, September and December.
MAT scores are accepted by several business schools in India as part of their selection process.
XAT – Xaviers Admission Test
Conducted by XLRI (Xavier School of Management in Jamshedpur), XAT is conducted annually in the month of January across several cities in India.
Several B-Schools in India accept the XAT scores as part of their admission process.
CMAT – Common Management Admission Test
CMAT, conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), is a national level entrance exam for admissions to post-graduate management programs offered by several B-schools across India (that are approved by AICTE).
IIFT – MBA Entrance Test
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is a premier B school in India that offers MBA in International Business, a much-sought after program by management aspirants in India.
The IIFT exam is a management aptitude test conducted for admission to IIFT (for its various centres – Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada). The IIFT exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) in the month of December every year.
SNAP – Symbiosis National Aptitude Test
SNAP is the national level aptitude test conducted for admission to all Post Graduate Management Programs offered by Symbiosis International University, a well-recognized private B-school in India, located in Pune.
NMAT: NMIMS Management Aptitude Test
NMAT (NMIMS Management Aptitude Test) is the all India entrance examination for admission into management programs offered by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Mumbai.
NMAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT) administered in association with Pearson VUE, for admission to general courses in management (2 years duration) offered by NMIMS Mumbai.
The pre-requisite for appearing for this exam is that you have to be a graduate.
The courses offered by NMIMS are approved from University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Etc.
After completion of management program from NMIMS Mumbai one can go for higher studies or start working in industry.
MAHCET – Maharashtra Common Entrance Test
A student needs to appear for MAHCET management entrance test for admission to the Two-year Full Time Post Graduate Degree Courses in MBA/MMS and PGDBM/PGDM in Government, University managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the state of Maharashtra.
