Adjectives describe nouns or pronouns and provide more information about the qualities, attributes, or characteristics of the noun or pronoun being described. For example, in the sentence “She has a big dog,” the word “big” is an adjective that describes the dog.
Adjectives can be divided into three broad categories: quantity and quality and Number.

Adjectives of Quantity
Adjectives of quantity refer to how many or how much of something. These quantity telling words tell us the amount of noun but does not tell the exact number. Adjectives of Quantity are used when we don’t want the exact number of noun.
We get these Adjectives of quantity by asking a question ‘how much?’ to a noun or pronoun.
Here are some examples of Adjectives of quantity:

- They had enough plates.
- He gave all his pens.
- He has no qualification.
- I have no faith in him.
- You did not take any book.
- She asked him to give half material.

Adjectives of Quality
Adjectives of quality refer to the kind, degree, or quality of something. These provide more information about quality of a thing or person.
Adjective of quality is used to describe the subject or noun. Sometimes, adjectives of quality are called descriptive adjective. These adjectives specify quality as well as state and action of a noun.
We get Adjectives of Quality by asking question ‘of what kind?’ to a noun to know the quality of noun.

- Sara is a beautiful girl.
- My boss is an honest person.
- This is a heavy box.

Adjective of Number
Adjective of Number expresses the Definite Quantity Of Noun or in easy words we can say that “It tells us the exact number of something”.
So, if someone askes you “How Many Students Are In Your Class”? You might say “There are Thirty Students in my class”. So in this sentence “thirty” is Adjective of number.
