While the education system has improved, the workload for school students hasn’t gone down a bit. In fact, parents now are required to put in more efforts to understand the homework/project of the child.
Coming home after a long day, a parent would prefer to have some play time with the child, or understand how the day was for the child.
However, more often than not, its observed that parents hardly have time to do anything in the evening after coming from office, besides helping the child do his/her homework.
And we are only talking about primary school students here. 3rd, 4th and 5th standard school students get lot of project work, essays (in English as well as Hindi) that needs to be done throughout the year.
It would be great if someone could do the homework from scratch and hand it over to you, so that you could just explain the important concepts to your child. That way you save time and the child still gets to learn about the main objective of the homework/project work.
