Dandiya & Garba for School Kids

Mumbai schools organize Dandiya events for School KIDS to make them understand more about the festival. Parents will dance with their kids to celebrate Navratri this year.

Several Kids School in Mumbai have organized special dandiya rass event for all students, including junior and senior KG students.

Parents and students in their casuals, formal and ethnic attire participate in this dance and song festival in the school premises.

Various schools have arranged this special program for the parents from all the communities and religions who either don’t have time or feel shy to dance in presence of their kids. This occasion will give chance to the young parents to gyrate to the tune of Gujrati folk songs.

Every year, few days of Garba gets interuupted due to rains, but most schools nowadays have the Garba n Dandiya event in indoor A.C environment (a big plus), which you can enjoy with your School friends.

Dandiya Celebration make kids feel special and also gives the kids an opportunity to learn and shake their legs with the right steps of garba and raas. This will create interest in kids, who will also be given information on the Navratri festival the Goddess.
