Question: Give a description of Tinkerbell?
Answer: Tinker Bell was a little fairy dressed in a leaf gown. She was several times brighter than the night light, which became visible when it came to rest for a second. She was about as big as a child’s hand and she moved about very quickly. She spoke fairy language which sounded like the tinkle of bells. She also had fairy dust on her which made her glow.
Question: Why did Wendy cover her face with the blankets at the end of the story?
Answer: Wendy had helped Peter by sewing his shadow back to his body. Instead of thanking her for her help, Peter jumped about acting like he had done it himself and barely acknowledged her help. This made Wendy very annoyed and she covered her face in her blankets feeling irritated. Wendy was angry at Peter as he refused to acknowledge that it was Wendy who sewed Peter’s shadow. And when she reminded Peter, he said that she had only helped a little.
Question: What do you think of Peter’s behaviour after he got his shadow back? If you were in his place, what would you have done?
Answer: Peter’s behaviour was very selfish after he got back his shadow. He did not care to thank Wendy nor did he cared for the efforts of Tinkerbell who put in efforts to find his shadow. He accidentally closed the drawer when she was inside one.
If I were in his place, I would have thanked them for their efforts and would have befriended them for helping me.
